OK here we are!
Less than a month to the start of the FIA Karting European Championship for the OK class. Scheduled start in Angerville on the weekend of April 21st.

March is over and with it also the wait for the start of the FIA Karting OK 2019 European Championship, the most prestigious karting competition for the Old Continent, which will start on the French circuit of Angerville on April 21st. To identify a possible interpretation of the event, it is necessary to return to 12 months ago; to understand that anything can happen. In 2018, in fact, it was hardly imaginable that the new born Kart Republic brand could have stockpiled successes (3 out of 4 appointments), redesigning the hierarchies on the track and the market balance of the direct drive. And yet it happened. It was quite the big bang, so let’s get ready for the response of the other builders, soon to arrive.
The first part of the season offered some interesting verdicts in view of the continental competition. On the one hand, we witnessed the confirmation of the competitiveness of the Kart Republic brand and of the teams connected to it such as Sauber Karting, TB Racing, Rosberg Racing and CV Performance; on the other, big companies such as Tony Kart, CRG and Birel ART have shown to have resources and potential to knock the Dino Chiesa brand from the top of the rankings.
JANKER FIRST “NO”, THEN “YES”
After the World Cup in Sweden, Hannes Janker greeted the “driven” karting by devoting himself fulltime to driver coaching activities. A short break, though, given that Janker returned to the WSK Euro Series in Sarno with all the intentions of preparing himself to repeat the European success of 2018. He, therefore, is the candidate n.1 and also the number he will carry on the front panel. There are no lack of contenders, however, who answer primarily to the names of Lorenzo Travisanutto (CV Performance), Dexter Patterson (Sauber Karting), the CRG duo formed by Pedro Hiltbrand and Gabriel Bortoleto, the tandem Tony Kart with Joseph Turney and Noah Milell, and the “red devils” of Birel ART, namely Luigi Coluccio and Alex Irlando.
