THE LAST CHALLENGE

Elf Master Karting 1993, Bercy

The nice view from the Bercy building on this unique occasion, the weekend of the Elf Master karting. A show of shows with karting the protagonist of a global event in an almost glamorous light that had great resonance in the 90s

It was 1993 and the world was a place quite different from today. Hard to imagine that in a few months the world of Motorsport would no longer be the same, orphan of that gentle young man who had given F1 so much in terms of popularity. The Elf Master Karting of Bercy, the indoor race held near Paris on December 19, 1993, was unknowingly the scene of a last, historic challenge between the two drivers who with their rivalry had ignited the Formula One scene at the beginning of the 90s: Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost. Vroom dedicates a few memories of that challenge that took place right on board the vehicle we love most, karts, in a sort of genuine return to the origins.
