Vettel's Mythology
In recent months Sebastian Vettel has jumped into the headlines not only for his deeds and vicissitudes with Ferrari in F1, but also for having expressed his point of view regarding karting promotion policies, no longer as favorable as when he raced in karting when most kart drivers could afford to live an important experience with the possibility of aiming high, without having to invest exorbitant amounts.

Today, not even the German of Ferrari could have aspired to certain expectations.
In short, his statement has left its mark precisely because it was expressed from the most important and showy stage of international motorsport: F1. So together with Glenn Davidson, the magician of restoration, we took the opportunity to propose to you the kart with which Vettel won the Fmk-Cik European Championship in 2001 with the 100 ICA Junior. We are making a jump back of 18 years to when the 13-year old Vettel won the continental trophy with the Tony Kart / Mitox powered by the Vortex VA / B 100 cc Piston Port. In 2001, the championship was contended in two races, the first in July in France and the second in early August in Denmark. Vettel put himself in the spotlight at the first race, finishing second in Race 1, and winning Race 2.
