With the fifth round of the Rok Cup Singapore, held on the KF1 Karting Circuit, the curtain of the 2019 Rok Cup racing season in Asia draws to a close. The circuit, peculiar for its counterclockwise direction, with mixed slow and fast sections, as well as sudden changes of direction, involved the drivers beyond measure, especially the Europeans not used to this type of track. To make everything even more difficult was the everchanging weather conditions from drizzling rain to heavy downpours.

There were about 80 finalist drivers divided into 6 categories, including the Senior GP which gathered the largest number of entrants. After subidividing the timed races into groups, the drivers took part in the heats always divided into Group A and B, followed by the pre-final and the final. Alexander Brown achieved the fastest lap in the qualifications of the Senior GP in 44.435 seconds.

Senior GP / Open - T he b est q ualifying practice time is recorded by Alexander Brown in 44”435, after the six heats and the two prefinals, one won by the Italian Domenico Cicognini and the other by Silvano Christian, who go to occupy the first row of the final. At the start of the final, the fight is between Cicognini, Christian, Basz and Hardja from the beginning. At the end of the 20 laps, it is Hardja who at the very end, once he takes the lead, raises the race pace until he crosses the finish line in P1. Christian and Basz complete the podium in that order.
