You will certainly remember how on these pages we emphasized how three times and on three different occasions, three Formula 1 drivers turned their attention to karting by declaring that the current state of karting is too expensive and in this way does harm to the entire motorsport because it blatantly favors wealthy drivers and blocks out those that are worthy but less wealthy. Sebastian Vettel, Antonio Giovinazzi and finally Lewis Hamilton, from time to time, have made it clear: name drivers, not just Joe Blow, who had distinguished themselves and won titles at the time they raced in karts, winning championships in 100 Junior, 60 Minikart and 100 Formula A.
