Randall Brown, founder and managing editor of The Journal of Compressed Creative Arts, believes that ‘something very small can add up to something very big, as in the compressed moment of the big bang.’ He is looking for creative work, fiction, non-fiction, poetry, mixed media, even kitchen sinks, if it is in some way compressed. Though exactly what that means he will leave to you. The Journal publishes one ‘compressed’ item a week online, and also publishes compressed chapbooks through Matter Press.
