TOURING SUPERLEGGERA: THE SEQUEL
Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera was reborn in 2006 to cater to the nascent demand for high-end, madeto-measure cars. First to appear in 2008 was the Maserati Bellagio, a Quattroporte estate, followed by the 2010 Bentley Continental Flying Star, a shooting brake based on the GTC. The Flying Star was endorsed by Bentley and sold in small numbers. A couple of years later, Touring unveiled its Disco Volante concept, a reinterpretation of the highly influential 1952 show car of the same name. A production version appeared a year later, of which eight were sold.
