Some four thousand, three hundred and sixty eight days after Jaguar's ill-fated Formula 1 stint ended in the ignominy of its two drivers colliding during the 2004 Brazilian Grand Prix, the British manufacturer’s absence from top level international motorsport will end. And it will end somewhere quite apart from the places its rich motorsport heritage is rooted in: Hong Kong, in a championship for electric cars. However, the British manufacturer is back and playing down expectations ahead of its Formula E debut. But success is a requirement for such an illustrious brand.
