When I was 10 years old my mum got really ill and she had to change her lifestyle and the foods she ate. Back then there wasn’t anything organic or vegan – there was always veg, of course, but there wasn’t that craze that there is now. I remember her going round local grocery stores trying to find things that were produced without chemicals on them. So, from an early age, I was aware of organic produce. Also, being a mum now myself, you have to read the back of packets to find out what’s going into your food. A lot of people don’t contemplate it and it’s about educating yourself.
