The illustration of Aaron Rodgers, Brett Favre, and Bart Starr on the cover was created exclusively for Beckett by renowned artist James G. Ferrara. “Having the opportunity to illustrate the cover of the September issue of Beckett Football based on a Packers’ theme (which happens to coincide with the opening of the 100th Anniversary of the NFL season) was very special. Being a Packers fan since their iconic victory in “The Ice Bowl” and having created artwork for the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame’s permanent collection, added to my excitement about the creation of this project. I am so glad I made the decision to illustrate three generations of Packers football represented by three of the greatest QB’s to play the game. I hope all NFL fans will relate to this cover as it depicts the rich history of the National Football League.
