AMERICAN AIRLINES has launched five new routes to Europe for the summer 2025 season. The Dallas/Forth Worth-based carrier will resume daily flights from Philadelphia to Edinburgh in Scotland from May 23 for the first time since 2019, using a Boeing 787-8. It will also add new daily services from Chicago to Madrid using a 787-8 from March 30, Philadelphia to Milan/Malpensa with a 787-8 from May 23, Charlotte to Athens using a 777-200 from June 5 and Miami to Rome/Fiumicino with a 777-200 from July 5.
