HOW TO MAKE PLUG PLANTS WORK FOR YOU
If you have neither the time nor the inclination to grow from seed, plug plants offer the perfect solution. Plugs are young plants that have already been tended through the tricky germination and seedling stages, and are usually a
couple of inches tall, with robust foliage and root systems. Most common are
bedding like begonias, fuchsias, petunias and pansies, but you can also buy a wide range of vegetable plants too. They either come in celltrays, or in small individual pots, and being much cheaper than mature plants are an economical way to fill your garden with flowers and fresh veggies.
