Sweet peas have a lot to offer – wonderful scent, bright flowers in a spectrum of colours, a long season, and blooms that can be enjoyed indoors and out. they are a true summer favourite, and by sowing now you will have plenty of flowers by June. Seeds of these lovely plants can be sown in the autumn and overwintered to bloom in May, but if you weren’t organised enough (or had nowhere to overwinter them) they will grow just as well from spring sowings.
