American Miniaturist Magazine Issue 212 Back Issue

T here is something about American Miniaturist that makes me giddy. Even as editor, when I start a new issue I am filled with excitement to make it fun and informative. I have even mentioned before how fast I would walk home after retrieving AM from my mailbox when I was a subscriber. Things have been bumpy while dealing with the epidemic but now AM is back on track! To those of you that were supportive and understanding over the past few months, thank you!
A new year is here and I think it will be a very creative one. So many people have used the down time from last year to discover this amazing art form and those that have already been enjoying it, rolled up their sleeves and dove into unfinished or new projects.
I was prompted to start a 1:12 cabin build.
This issue has lots of winter themed projects, but also a few that will stir up some spring/summer ideas. I tend to create summer projects in winter to feel warmer and winter projects in the summer to cool down. Then I discovered lots of other makers do the same. If you have a creative mind then there’s no doubt you like to stir things up while creating.
