BUG-OUT BAGS FOR THE MASSES

Survival situations don’t follow a schedule. Planning for an unexpected emergency should be at the forefront of everyone’s “to-do” list. The best first step to take is to prepare a bug-out bag. Most people believe this bag should be able to carry everything you'll need to sustain yourself for the first 72 hours after a crisis hits. If you pack lighter, we also have some options for you.

This bag should contain the main survival groups, including food, water, shelter and fire-making components. From there, first aid, signaling devices, weapons, tools, lighting, clothing and other items you deem important should make up the remainder of the contents.
