The creation of a knife is a time-honored tradition that has been carried on from bladesmith to bladesmith over the course humankind’s history. The first crude knives might have been ground out of bone or stone and while effective in their own right, they greatly pale in contrast to modern knives. The modern knife maker’s skills, tools understanding of and access to metals and technology now spoil us with unprecedented quality knives.
