A dozen customers of former Surrey auction house Fryer & Brown have joined forces to pursue the firm for their goods or money owed after it ceased trading at the beginning of the year.
Consignor Peter Reed is leading the group. He told ATG: “This case affects dozens of people to the tune of tens of thousands of pounds. It does not do the trade any good.”
Fryer & Brown was set to be struck off the company register earlier this year but this action has been suspended due to an objection by a creditor.
