The studio contents of prolific Royal Doulton modeller Leslie Harradine (1887-1965) are to be dispersed by Guernsey saleroom Martel Maides on September 13.
The 64-lot group has passed by family descent and comes from Harradine’s studio in Sark, also in the Channel Islands. Some 20 sculptures and models by Harradine are included, many dating from his time with Royal Doulton from 1920 and the mid-1950s, as well as more than 20 paintings by his wife, Molly McCann.
This large 3ft 10in (1.17m) high Art Deco style plaster female nude by Harradine is guided at £3000-4000.
