Hammershøi record returns to Denmark

A 2ft 10in (86cm) long Louis Vuitton zinc Explorer’s ‘Malle Cabine’ estimated at £20,000- 30,000 on December 6 at Toovey’s, West Sussex.
The label includes the firm’s Oxford Street address (opened in 1885) over-printed with 454 Strand (where LV moved in 1888).

Collectors who missed out on a rare late 19th century cabin trunk at auction last week have the chance to buy another in West Sussex this coming Friday.
