Lymington takes on Kidner rooms

A toy specialist and his son have bought the former auction house of George Kidner in Hampshire and will relaunch auctions and open an antiques centre on the site.

Nick Powner and son James have bought the freehold of the building at Emsworth Road, Lymington (pictured right), renaming it Lymington Auctions with the first sale planned for July. The building has been an auction house for more than half a century.
