CHORAL singing filled Ardrishaig North Hall last Saturday at a coffee morning with a bit of a twist.
Mid Argyll Musical Society hosted a morning gathering for tea, coff ee, cakes and singing. A 20-strong choir serenaded guests with an impressive repertoire on Saturday, May 27, in an attempt to raise funds for their upcoming shows.
Iain Salmon, chairman of the music society, said: ‘We’re fundraising for the society itself as we are putting on a show later this year because grants and money available for costumes and props has faded away. We didn’t have a show last year but we’re determined to make the show this year a success.’
