WE WERE hit by problems with technology this week at our offices in Lochgilphead.
On Tuesday morning we suddenly lost internet and email communication.
It was a disaster. It’s a truism, but we don’t realise how dependent we are on technology until it is not there.
Problems with broadband and associated infrastructure are a constant pain around Mid Argyll, and it doesn’t seem to be improving much, despite promises from all sides.
Anyway, we struggled through this week at the paper, and though there are subjects that may need to be deferred we hope the difference is not too noticeable.
