BUDDING designers are being asked to ‘use their loaf’ to create a public leisure space in Lochgilphead.
An award of £10,000 through the Tesco Bags of Help scheme – using money raised from the supermarket’s 5p bag charge – has allowed Blarbuie Woodland Enterprise Ltd to go ahead with a special project.
Located at Blarbuie community woodland, the plan is to create a picnic area around the octagon space and the enterprise company wants community groups to come up with the design. Any local group or school can enter.
The design should incorporate the seven picnic benches and eight pieces of timber-constructed adventure playground equipment that will be available.
