We belong to a brilliant community

One of Argyll’s best qualities is its community spirit and this week it has been on show in spades across the region.

Coming together is what we do best, whether it is throwing ourselves in at the deep end and organising a festival, joining in or being part of the crowd, we’re there, supporting our communities and making them stronger.

It was wonderful to see the crowds descend on Tarbert to enjoy the fun of the Seafood Festival. The variety of seafood on offer was outstanding and, while everything is better in the sunshine, seeing so many happy faces made this year’s festival just about perfect.

In an already successful year for Mid Argyll Pipe Band, Camron MacPhail picking up the Niall Campbell Trophy is yet another good news story for the band.
