First Milk denies creamery talks

A RELIABLE source has claimed First Milk, which is selling Campbeltown Creamery, has held talks with a Stirling firm.

Robert Graham of Graham’s The Family Dairy, based in Stirling, told the Argyllshire Advertiser this week that its own plans for a massive extension are paramount and it has not had ‘time to consider other opportunities’.

Mr Graham said: ‘As a Scottish family dairy business, we are committed to Scottish dairy industry and the fantastic products that this country produces. We haven’t had time to consider if there are opportunities given First Milk’s announcement on their Scottish creameries.
