Totally inspired by stunning Inveraray

Inveraray has lots going for it but it is not without its problems. Last week’s meeting of Inspire Inveraray highlighted the need for communication between local leaders and the community.

Change takes time but it is only through talking to each other and sharing ideas that will allow the community to get behind the changes.

On a more positive note, Inveraray’s Highland Games once again provided a day to remember. The crowds were treated to first-class competition with Highland dancers, pipe bands, heavy athletes and others, and blue skies providing a great day out. However, the biggest cheer of the day was reserved for Scott Rider, who reclaimed the World Caber Tossing Champion title having won it in 2013, 2014 and 2016.
