Gala Day Cup drama returns to Ardrishaig

THE KING George Park in Ardrishaig is the place to be tonight, Friday July 21, as the much anticipated annual Gala Day Cup match returns.

Rivalling the Old Firm or El Classico, the Gala Day over-30s v under- 30s promises to be a feisty affair with Gary Casci charged with keeping a lid on proceedings. Over- 30s manager Bryan Crawford has gone about his team selection quietly but with assured confidence that the old guard may just be able to upset the youngsters. The under-30s will be managed this year by Colin Weir, who intends to notch up a record number of goals against the over-30s.
