Plenty of buyers drawn to opening Dalmally sale

UNITED Auctions held the company’s opening sale of lambs and sheep at Dalmally Auction Mart on Friday August 18.

A catalogued entry of 2,180 lambs and sheep sold to a good ringside of buyers. Lambs levelled out at £52.18 per head or 170.71 pence per kilo against £52.82 per head and 180.2 pence per kilo at the corresponding sale last year. In general, lambs were shown in good bloom.
