MORE than 600 couples a year choose to have their marriage ceremony in Argyll and Bute - that’s almost two weddings every day.
Since the law changed in 2002 allowing couples to be married anywhere, registars in Argyll and Bute have seen an increase in people tying the knot in various locations across the area.
One couple even held their special ceremony on Ben More, the Isle of Mull’s highest mountain.
