DISABLED people living in Argyll had the chance to give feedback on Tuesday as Scotland looks into its social security.
The consultation, which took place on Tuesday in Oban, was led by disabled people’s organisation Inclusion Scotland. The charity said that the meeting gave those with disability the chance to influence new powers coming to the country in regards to disability benefits.
Sue Kelly, of Inclusion Scotland, said: ‘Around 80 per cent of the devolved social security powers coming to Scotland relate to disability benefits. This means that the views of disabled people are vitally important.’
