INSPIRED by his son-inlaw, a Lochgilphead man pedalled his way from Callander to Killin and back as part of a challenging fundraising push.
On Saturday April 29, Jimmy McCallum, accompanied by fellow fundraiser Graeme MacPherson, successfully cycled 48 miles of open road in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. Not content with that, Jimmy is now going to abseil from the Forth Bridge to try to boost the fundraising total.
The pair have been inspired by Jimmy’s sonin- law, Thomas Welch, who suffers from cystic brosis, to embark on the sponsored cycle and do their bit to raise awareness of the condition.
