TWO ARGYLL and Bute Council apprentices have become fully qualified HGV mechanics.

Chris Cupples from Lochgilphead and David Butler from Dunoon have been attending Glasgow Training Group (GTG) since starting work with the council three years ago. They were presented with certificates at a ceremony at GTG’s headquarters earlier this month.

Chris, aged 22, works in the council’s plant yard in Lochgilphead, while David, 25, works at the Hamilton Street workshop in Dunoon.
