(KYES) has developed a range of services to tackle the problems faced by all young people including those that feel most marginalised (like they don’t fit in). KYES offers a neutral, confidenti al and approachable service for young people aged 12-25 and has worked to develop a range of provision that is att racti ve to this age group.
KYES helps the young people develop socially and mentally through the wide range of provision that they offer, where they can develop their social skills and access various employment, training and educati onal opportuniti es. By taking part in the varied acti viti es and drop-ins that KYES offers, the young people are given the ability to grow and become leaders in our community; young people are growing in confidence and are able to take ownership of the decisions in their lives, allowing them to broaden their personal relati onships and to develop social and communicati on skills as well as physical and practi cal.
KYES acti vely encourages young people to join the team- they can and do help shape and sustain the workforce for the future. In partnership with young people that they give support to through their Homeless and Housing Support group they work together to create opportuniti es to ensure that today’s youth become vital members of tomorrow's society.
