Mental health patients moved

PATIENTS were due to be moved earlier this week after a building refurbishment programme to relocate inpatient mental health services, on an interim basis, from Argyll and Bute Hospital to Mid Argyll Community Hospital.

Donald Watt, interim locality manager for Mid Argyll, Kintyre and Islay, said: ‘Over the last few months Argyll and Bute Health and Social Care Partnership has been carrying out building refurbishment works in the lower ground floor of Mid Argyll Hospital to relocate inpatient mental health services from Argyll and Bute Hospital.’
