WHILE the nation watched the marathon unfold in London, Argyll athletes put on a fine show in Ardrishaig for the annual Crinan Puffer.
As the sun beat down on the Crinan Canal, 111 runners completed the eight-mile Scottish Sea Farms-sponsored course last Sunday.
In the senior men’s race David Savage’s 45:22 placed him 32 seconds ahead of Campbeltown Running Club’s (CRC) Stuart McGeachy 45:54 with Drew Dutton CRC third on 49:11.
