THE BEST of the West Festival kicks off this weekend, with the lineup showcasing the best of Scottish traditional music.
Held in the grounds of Inveraray Castle and beginning tomorrow (Saturday) September 10 from 11am to 7.30pm before con tinuing on Sunday September 11 from 11am to 6.30pm, there will be top-class music from the contemporary folk scene in Scotland and an array of world-class whiskies and traditional Scots fare on offer.
Saturday’s headliners Manran’s power ful, award-winning combination of Gaelic and English songs, underpinned by accordion, fiddle, flute and a backline of drum and bass, is sure to have the crowds jumping.
