A former Arran High School student and Machrie resident, now living in Aberdeen, will attempt to run across the width of Scotland from Ardnamurchan to Aberdeen in six days to raise money for a cancer charity.
Corri Black, a professor of public health and health service research at Aberdeen University, will attempt the 240 mile challenge with team mate Carron McKellar in an effort to raise £5,000 for Maggie’s Centre, Aberdeen.
Starting at Ardnamurchan lighthouse, the most westerly mainland point in Scotland, the two fundraisers will run along paths and trails with the intention of completing their challenge six days later at Maggie’s Centre in Aberdeen.
