The sun shone and the music played as the Arran Folk Festival took centre stage last weekend.
For three days the terrace of the Douglas Hotel was transformed into a mass stage for the open sessions, and musicians and singers took turns to entertain the crowds – sometimes individually, usually, in the spirit of the festival, collaboratively with all manner of musical instruments.
All of which was overseen, in his own inimitable style, by ‘Uncle’ Keith Robertson.
