The official opening ceremony for the newly upgraded Brodick ferry terminal took place on Thursday in front of a large group of invited guests from local community and those with an interest in ferries and harbours. The ceremony began with a short introduction from Caledonian Maritime Assets Ltd (CMAL) chief executive Kevin Hobbs before Scottish Finance Secretary Derek Mackay delivered short speech and unveiled the opening plaque.
