There will be temporary road closures on the C147 south of Whitefarland for five days from today (Friday).
The closures will be from 9.15am to noon and 12.30pm to 4pm to allow carriageway resurfacing works which are to be carried out on or near the public highway.
Due to the nature of these works and existing road widths, legislation requires that in the interest of safety to both the road users and the workforce, a road closure must be put in place. It should be noted that the closure will be short-stop closures, for a maximum of 30 minutes at a time and there will be a 30-minute period when the road is completely open from noon to 12.30pm.
