Sir Kenneth Calman will be talking about his new book of poetry, ‘Afterthoughts’, at Arran Library in Brodick on Wednesday November 22 at 7pm.
This collection came about through events, places and people which created an idea in the author’s mind and which were then transcribed into verse. The poems became the ‘Afterthoughts’ which stimulated the words, and often occurred while dog walking.
They are meant to be enjoyed, and occasionally to amuse. They illustrate part of Kenneth’s life, and some of the things which matter most to him.
