The framework for the new terminal building at Brodick Pier is all but complete.
As week 19 of the works draws to a close it is another tangible sign of just how well the £22.2 million project is progressing.
It took steel erectors just two weeks to complete the framework which will house the two-storey terminal building, which will have a covered walkway to the pier. Meanwhile, two ‘crawler cranes’ have been busy in recent weeks carrying out the piling works on the new bulkhead and pier construction.
