This year the charity, Scotland’s Gardens, will have three island gardens open to the public in order to raise funds for various charities.
The three gardens will be Brodick Castle, Dougarie Estate and the Glades in Whiting Bay. On Tuesday, May 24 Brodick Castle gardens will open and there will be a tour with the head gardener Tim Keyworth at 2pm. It will also be open on Thursday, June 30, Thursday, July 28 and Thursday, August 25 at 7pm where tours will once again be led by the head gardener.
On Sunday, June 19 a recently developed garden, the Glades in Whiting Bay will be open and on Wednesday, July 6 from 2pm to 5pm Dougarie will host their garden open day where there will be stalls and tea’s served in the 19th century boathouse.
