The Arran Horticultural Society held its annual summer show in the Lamlash community centre on Wednesday August 9, as reported in last week’s Banner.

The Dippen Lodge Challenge Cup, presented by Hon. Frances de Moleyns, for the best exhibit of hydrangeas: Kate Henderson. The John Sillars Cup for the best exhibit of dahlias: John Lammie. The Millennium Cup for the most 1st prizes in horticultural sections: Malcolm Wheeler. The Archie Craig Memorial Trophy for best exhibit in section 1: Janice Murray.
