Downing Street scoops Arran ice cream

Scotland’s Master Chef winner Gary Maclean presents the haggis.

An Arran-made ice cream found its way on to the prime minister’s annual Burns Supper menu last week in Downing Street. Cranachan ice cream from Brodick-based Arran Dairies was served up by Scotland’s BBC Master Chef winner Gary Maclean. Scots from a variety of business sectors, food and drink suppliers, educational institutions and politics joined Prime Minister Theresa May for the threecourse meal in celebration of Scotland’s national bard Robert Burns.
