Sir,
There was an article in the Banner a few weeks ago on the new path between Cordon and Kings Cross about the work being finished but there are several sections not pathed because the owner refused permission. Those areas were like a skating rink this weekend and should be pathed by cutting the branches and briers on the land next to the shore and drained where necessary. This type of path making might not conform with modern ways of path making but at least it would be safer.
I would like the first section from Cordon to the new path (500 metres) to be made to give the less able access to enjoy the view of Lamlash Bay and village. This section could be made by a machine and using quarry material. This would allow the sides of the path to grow. The problem here is further along and is owner’s consent to the new path so I would ask them for permission for this section of path work to be done.
