The Swan lifts the top prize

There was a bumper entry for the beach sculpture competition held at part of the Whiting Bay fun week.

A total of 22 teams entered the event and spent last Wednesday afternoon creating their masterpieces over two hours on the beach which, after a wet and windy start, ended with the prize-giving bathed in sunshine.
