Up until now your reporting in relation to the Holy Isle community wind project has been very even-handed, which we have appreciated. However, your recent article in The Arran Banner dated July 23 contains an inaccuracy which we feel needs to be corrected.

The reference and information relating to the planning approval of 1998 is the same as that which was included in the previous application of November 2015. The difference between the wind project planning application submitted in November 2016 and the present re-application is the number and location of the turbines at the south of the island, together with the radar consultants’ report concerning these turbines. There are also some very minor updates to the ecological assessment.
