The Arran branch of the RNLI held a successful coffee morning at the Ormidale Pavilion, Brodick last Saturday.
After a slow start the event picked up and at one point it was standing room only. Along with traditional tea and coffee with home baking, the stalls, including a cake stall and the huge tombola, did a roaring trade.
The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea and relies entirely on fundraising from local communities.
