The amazing history and treasures of Brodick Castle were in the spotlight last week.
The National Trust for Scotland’s initiative to offer free familiarisation tours to individuals involved in the tourist industry on Arran was booked to capacity on Monday when delegates took the opportunity to learn more about the castle and the magnificent and historically important collections housed there.
Head education guide, Sue Mills, ran five specialist tours as a way of refreshing their knowledge about what the castle has to offer so that they, in turn, can inform the thousands of visitors to the castle every year.
